AI and Claude Engineer - Summer Intern (Sofia, Bulgaria)
📍 About Eleven:
Eleven is a CEE-focused early-stage venture fund. We back ambitious founders from pre-seed onward across the region, and we run our operations the same way we invest – with speed, sharp judgment, and genuine curiosity about people and ecosystems.
Over the past year, we have been embedding AI and automation deeply into how we work across sourcing, due diligence, event intelligence, LP relations, and portfolio support. We are now looking for someone to push that significantly further.
📍 The role:
This is a paid, in-office position based in Sofia. You will work directly with our platform and investment team to design, build, and maintain AI-powered systems that make our operations smarter, particularly around people intelligence, network data, and workflow automation.
The core of the work sits at the intersection of agentic AI engineering and VC operations.
📍 What you will work on:
- People and network intelligence is the heaviest area. We work with large volumes of people data – founders, LPs, co-investors, ecosystem contacts – and need systems that enrich, structure, and surface that data intelligently. You will build pipelines for automated contact research and enrichment, relationship mapping, and others.
- You will build and extend our data infrastructure through integrations across our CRM and other systems, build data flows that keep our knowledge base clean and current, and design new layers of intelligence on top of existing records.
- VC work is non-linear. Things come up, and we need someone who can absorb context fast and ship working systems.
📍 Who we are looking for:
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code
- Strong grasp of agentic AI patterns: tool use, MCP servers, prompt chaining, multi-step orchestration
- Comfortable with automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make) and APIs
- Sharp context-switching ability
- Data-literate – you think in pipelines, schemas, and outputs
- Self-directed – you ask the right clarifying questions, then move
