About the Visa Innovation Program Europe (VIPE):
The Visa Innovation Program Europe is a collaborative platform designed to accelerate the growth of fintech startups and scale-ups. By bridging the gap between innovative startups and Visa’s global network of clients and partners, the program facilitates pilot projects, commercial deals, and market expansion. In the Greece, Cyprus, and Malta hub, we work with Visa, Eleven Ventures and Endeavor Greece to transform the regional fintech landscape by providing startups with unparalleled access to mentorship, design-thinking workshops, and the Visa ecosystem.
📌 The Opportunity:
We are looking for a bright, curious, and enthusiastic Program Manager to join our flagship VIPE Fintech Initiative. Based in Athens, you will sit at the intersection of venture capital and corporate innovation. You will work side-by-side with industry experts from Eleven, the Visa regional team, and our network partner, Endeavor Greece, to find and scale the next generation of fintech leaders.
📌 Your Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Own the program lifecycle, creating detailed schedules and ensuring all deliverables exceed the expectations of Visa and its corporate clients.
Strategic Scouting: Build and manage a robust pipeline of fintech startups, evaluating their potential for the program and future investment.
Business Development: Initiate activities that promote Visa products, services, and APIs, creating tangible business opportunities for both startups and partners.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison, meeting with financial institutions and corporate partners to introduce the program’s value proposition in coordination with the Visa team.
Community Building: Design and execute high-impact community engagement formats (events, workshops, demo days) across Greece, Cyprus, and Malta.
Ecosystem Expansion: Work closely with Endeavor Greece to unlock growth opportunities for fintechs and expand the program’s regional footprint.
📌 Who You Are:
Ecosystem Fluent: You have a passion for startups and a solid understanding of (or a deep desire to learn) the Fintech and VC landscape.
Execution-Oriented: You are a “tenacious” worker who thrives in a small, fast-paced team and can manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball.
Relationship Builder: You are comfortable presenting to high-level executives and engaging with founders alike.
Analytical & Structured: You can take a complex goal and break it down into a clear, actionable project plan.
📌 The Setup:
Role: This is a contractor position, renewed on an annual basis.
