As cloud computing transforms modern business, success often comes from understanding both the technical complexities and business intricacies of digital transformation. This deep understanding is exactly what led to Cloud Office’s establishment in 2019. The founding team brings together decades of experience working together at companies like Sutherland, ScaleFocus, and Google, where they developed deep expertise in managing complex technical operations and enterprise relationships. Their vision? To become the leading technology partner helping companies harness the full potential of cloud technology and AI, while maintaining the personal touch and efficiency of a local partner.

The cloud services market

is experiencing unprecedented growth, primarily driven by the rapid adoption of AI and the increasing need for digital transformation. The global cloud market, valued at approximately $626 billion in 2023, is projected to reach up to $1.3 trillion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 15%. The market opportunity is further amplified by cloud services, which studies suggest to be between two to four times the cloud spend itself. This surge is fueled by several key factors:

📌 the increasing need for scalable infrastructure to support AI implementations;

📌 the shift towards remote work requiring robust cloud solutions;

📌 businesses’ growing recognition that cloud adoption is no longer optional but essential for maintaining competitiveness.

As organizations move beyond basic cloud infrastructure, they’re increasingly focusing on sophisticated implementations that combine AI, machine learning, and advanced data analytics. This evolution has transformed cloud adoption from a mere cost-saving initiative into a strategic imperative for business innovation and competitive advantage. This explosive growth is creating an urgent need for skilled partners who can help businesses navigate the complexities of cloud adoption and AI integration.

The challenge lies in the implementation gap

between powerful cloud solutions and businesses’ practical needs. While global tech giants offer cloud platforms, many businesses, especially in Southern Europe, struggle with the complexity of implementation, local compliance requirements, and the high costs of direct enterprise support. Traditional global integrators often prove too expensive and inflexible, while local providers frequently lack the necessary expertise for complex implementations. The challenges become particularly serious as organizations attempt to implement more sophisticated cloud solutions. Many businesses find themselves stuck between basic cloud adoption and the advanced implementations they need, struggling with issues like data migration, security configuration, and the integration of AI and machine learning capabilities. This technical gap not only hinders innovation but also impacts operational efficiency and competitive advantage. Markets like Greece, where there are no established Google Cloud partners, present significant expansion opportunities for Cloud Office to effectively bridge this implementation gap. Without wasting any time, the company is already establishing its local office and team in Greece (led by Konstantinos Kalogerakis as a Country Head) and strengthening its local presence.

Cloud Office steps into this void

by combining cloud infrastructure expertise with AI implementation capabilities. Named Google Cloud Partner of the Year 2024 for EMEA in the Expansion category, the company has grown to serve over 650 customers across EMEA with a team of 60+ engineers. Their comprehensive approach encompasses development, consulting, and management of systems and infrastructure – including cloud adoption, migration, deployment, data analytics, and GenAI implementations. Their founder-led departments across system architecture, delivery, sales, and operations ensure quality and efficiency in project delivery. What distinguishes their approach is the combination of technical innovation with practical business understanding – they don’t just implement solutions, they build and optimize complex systems that drive business value while ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.

A story of perfect timing

brings together a group of tech professionals whose paths had crossed multiple times when working together. Two of Cloud Office’s future founders, Ivo and Chavdar, have known each other for years, and when Ivo reached out to Chavdar about collaboration, Chavdar’s response was a polite “yes, you’re on my radar” – his way of saying he wasn’t interested. Back then they were working in two complementary businesses that developed independently but could greatly benefit from joining forces. Despite Chavdar’s lack of interest at that point, fate had other plans. The two companies’ founders all ended up working on the same floor of the same building and so the conversation between them became practically unavoidable. Then one conversation led to another, and suddenly everything clicked. Today, the “you’re on my radar” response has become the team’s favorite inside joke, a reminder that sometimes the best partnerships need a touch of fate to align – even when they’ve been right in front of you all along.
